House Layout

Step into Quay Corner through a spacious lobby featuring seating, storage options, and entry points to a charming lounge and the third bedroom alongside the kitchen/diner.

The kitchen/diner boasts an enchanting exposed beam setting, exuding character. Equipped with a large fridge/freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer, this space is a culinary haven. The dining area includes a table with seating for six, two comfortable armchairs, and a wood burner. Through patio doors, discover the enclosed rear garden.

The lounge is a haven of comfort, adorned with two sofas, a wood burner, TV, side tables and lamps. This welcoming space leads into Bedroom 3, a double room with ample storage and abundant natural light.

Climb the staircase in the lobby to reach the first floor.

Upon reaching the first floor, guests encounter a narrow yet vibrant hallway leading to Bedroom 1, Bedroom 2, and the family bathroom. This level showcases beautifully painted wooden flooring throughout, complemented by an array of woven rugs, bookshelves and coastal decor, creating a cosy atmosphere.

Bedroom 1 presents a double bed with bedside tables, a chest of drawers, sash windows at the front, and scenic marsh views at the back. Additionally, there are two built-in wardrobes and a striking black fireplace, making it an ideal retreat for enthusiasts of distinctive properties.

Bedroom 2 is a twin room and offers bedside tables and an in-built wardrobe accompanied by a sash windows to the front.

The family bathroom is adorned with a dusky pink theme and highlights a roll-top bath with an overhead rainfall shower, a rear window with shutters, WC, washbasin, and a vanity unit.

To the front of the property there is a designated shingle space for parking a single car. To the rear of the property, you’ll find a charming and quaint garden adorned with cobbled flint, shingle, and local artefacts. The garden features patio furniture, a sun lounger, and a garden gate providing access to The Quay.

Please note this property only sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children and is not designed to sleep 5 or 6 adults.

Due to the floods of 1953, this property has signs of damp throughout the ground floor due to the salt being in the walls. You can see photographic evidence of this in some of the photographs. Therefore if the property has been unoccupied for a period of time, a damp smell can be found until the property is lived in with heating on and air circulating.
