An area of outstanding natural beauty situated along the North Norfolk coast, Brancaster, and the neighbouring Brancaster Staithe, offer a beautiful coastal escape no matter the time of year.  Throughout the summer months, you can expect the normal bustle of a seaside town and harbour, whereas winter sees expanses of the beach left untouched, perfect for walks. Brancaster is surrounded by nature and is home to both saltwater and freshwater habitats. There’s also plenty of sightseeing and nature walks to explore, perfect if you’re bringing your dog.

Have the freedom to explore and sample a wide selection of the local cuisine, our Tennyson cottage is located between two pubs, great for lunch and evenings at the bar. For a winter stay, explore the harbour and then come back to your cottage for a cosy evening by the wood burner. The whole family is welcome, most of our cottages accept dogs and offer both high chairs, and stair gates for younger guests. Sea views are guaranteed at our beautiful coastal cottage retreats in Brancaster, Norfolk.

We also have available the beautiful Chosley Cottage which is situated just a 5 minute drive from the sandy shores of Brancaster beach.

Our favourite places: Grab a ’99 at the beach shack before heading out for the day on the local stunning sandy beach! For those who are happy to venture along the beach a little further expect to be rewarded with your own private stretch of sand.

Brancaster is also only a short drive away from Holkham Hall, which offers a huge array of events and activities throughout the year.
