Our self-catering Norfolk Broads holiday cottages

Holidays around the broads offer a unique insight into quintessential country living. The Broads span over 125 miles, and the best way to explore them is on the water. Boat hire is common in any of the surrounding Norfolk villages and provides a peaceful way to explore lock free water ways. Why not stop for lunch at one of the local pubs before heading back to your holiday cottage?

Explore the Broads and then return back to your cottage for some well-deserved rest. Your cottage will provide you with a base to relax and enjoy the surroundings, whilst being close to attractions, pubs and restaurants, so you are never far away from exploring the local area.

Perfect for: Boat lovers, adventure seekers, families, romantic breaks, couples.

Don’t miss: Wroxham is known as the capital of The Broads. Make sure you head here for a browse around and bite to eat.

Our favourite places: It’s not all about boats – we love hiring a paddle board (or taking our own) to Coltishall where we then paddle over to Wroxham and sometimes even Horning. Both Coltishall and Horning are great spots for a pub lunch too!

Events: As previously mentioned, The Broads isn’t just about the rivers, there are plenty of great local attractions which can be enjoyed – all of which have seasonal events throughout the year.
