House Layout

Enter Westward House through the front door into the Victorian hallway with a long corridor into the kitchen at the far end.

The first room is the lounge which offers comfortable seating for 8 guests as well as a TV, windows looking out towards the sea and plenty of coffee tables.

The dining room is positioned to the rear of the property with dining table and chairs.

The kitchen can be found at the end of the property with easy access in through stable doors from the parking and garden area. There is also access directly to the sheltered courtyard, handy for delivering food from the kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with oven, electric hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster.

Beyond the kitchen is a small utility area which provides a fridge/freezer and washing machine.

There is a WC under the stairs on the ground floor for convenience.

The first floor presents a large landing which gives access to 3 bedrooms, a WC and family bathroom.

Bedroom 1, Seaview, boasts beautiful sea views and a super king size bed as well as a large ensuite shower room. There is plenty of storage facilities and the ensuite offers an LED mirror, large washbasin, WC and walk in shower.

Bedroom 2, Dragonfly, has a double bed with a small ensuite shower room with WC. It also contains a large wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bedroom 3,  Driftwood, is located at the rear of the property and offers two single beds and a chest of drawers.

The family bathroom can be found at the bottom of the stairs which leads to the 2nd floor. It offers a walk in shower, washbasin and WC. There is also an additional WC.

There is further clothes storage in a cupboard in the Hallway, useful for those staying in Driftwood.

The 2nd floor comprises of a twin bedroom and small landing.

Bedroom 4, Mermaid, is a lovely twin bedroom in the eaves of the house, therefore offering character and views over the rooftops of nearby houses.

Westward House is located very close to the beach and from the front of the property it is decorated with characterful fisherman props. There is a walkway along the side of the house to the rear of the property which offers a lovely sun trap seating area, parking for 1 car and a sheltered courtyard area which is ideal for al fresco dining and entertaining.

There is access via the courtyard or stable doors into the kitchen making it easy to unpack the car from a long day exploring Norfolk.

Westward House

Westward House is located on the beach front in Sheringham, one of Norfolk’s finest Victorian seaside towns.

Sheringham is a vibrant town full of character and charm, with an array of independent shops, bakeries, cafes, pubs and restaurants. It benefits from enjoying one of North Norfolk’s cleanest beaches (holding a Blue Flag status) and hosts plenty of events throughout the year including Sheringham Carnival in the first week of August.

The town is a wonderful spot to be based in as it is easily accessible through rail and bus links. Furthermore, if steam trains interest you, then hop aboard the North Norfolk Railway which runs from Sheringham to the Georgian town of Holt, through some of the Country’s most attractive coastal scenery.

Sheringham is a destination which is highly versatile and is enjoyed by all ages.
