Formerly 2 terraced cottages, it has been converted to produce 1 large house refurbished to a high standard. Ideally located within a short walking distance of two fine pubs, The White Horse and The Jolly Sailors, this house also benefits from having marsh views, a large garden, and 2 sitting rooms, both with wood burners! A real family home and not one to be missed!

House Layout

Ground Floor

Walk into the rear entrance and into a Utility Room, ideal for storing those dirty boots and wellies and to hang coats. This space also contains a large extra fridge/freezer, sink and washing machine.

To the left is a Bathroom which has underfloor heating, shower, basin and WC.

Walk into the first of 2 comfortable Sitting Rooms located at the front of the house. The room features a large comfortable sofa for 3, 2 arm chairs, a wood burner, coffee table TV and DVD player. The sofa can become a sofa bed upon request (and extra charge). Please contact us for more information. A starter pack of logs is provided.

The second Sitting Room also benefits from a comfortable sofa and 2 large armchairs. There is a wood burner (not working) which is a lovely feature for the room. There is a book case providing games and books for children, alongside a TV and external door to the front garden.

Through to the large Kitchen/Dining Area at the rear of the house. The space is welcoming with the tiled flooring carrying through from the sitting rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and features a fan oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. The Dining Area features a table and seating for 8.

First Floor

Walk upstairs and the first bedroom you will encounter is the Twin Bedroom which features 2 single beds and views of the rear garden. The perfect room for the younger generations!

The Pink Room is also situated at the rear and features a King sized bed which can be split into singles upon request, chest of drawers and bedside lamps. The room has views over the terrace and garden.

Enter the spacious 70s Rattan Room which features a Super King bed, modern styled 70s dressing table and light shade, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The room is located at the front of the house and has spectacular sea and marsh views.

Also at the front of the house with similar views is The Blue Room. The room benefits from a super-king bed, wardrobe and bedside tables with lamps. Another impeccable designed room!

The family bathroom is also located on the first floor and features a bath with shower over, basin and WC.

Outside

The large front garden is turfed and can be accessed from one of the Sitting Rooms. It is also enclosed, making it perfect for your furry friends!

The enclosed terraced area is situated at the rear of the property and features large garden table and chairs for 8. There is also a gas BBQ for those warm summer evenings!

Pass the terraced area is a large grass garden which is a great space for all the family to run off steam!

Notes

Heating Underfloor heating in downstairs bathroom. Night storage heaters, electric heaters and wood burners throughout the rest of the house.

Parking parking is available for multiple cars at the rear of the house. Parking on street is also unrestricted.

Logs A starter pack of logs is provided.

Please note the garden and shed area suffered major damage in a fire in Summer 2022. As a result, the garden hedges do not appear similar at the time of writing this (January 2023) and the the sheds are in the process of being replaced.

Very cosy and comfortable cottage. Ideal for families with plenty room and large garden. Handy for two good pubs and exhilarating walks along the coastal path to the harbour and beach. We really enjoyed the crab shed at the harbour which sold fresh crabs and shellfish freshly caught.
