The property dates back to 1895 and retains some original period features, not one but two wood burners, a large farmhouse style kitchen (with an Aga!) making her a super cosy home from home for the whole family!

With three spacious double bedrooms and one single room, everyone is guaranteed a restful night under hotel quality white bed linen. No need to queue for the bathroom as Ivydale has two bathrooms and an additional WC.

Situated a mere hop, skip and a jump from Sheringham’s famous Blue Flag beach, cafes and pubs, means there is no need to rely on the car unless you wish to spend the day idling along our stunning coastal roads.

House Layout

Ivydale is accessed through the rear courtyard. On entry into the large farmhouse style kitchen guests will be delighted by the roomy and bright space which offers plenty of storage, utensils and cookware to whip up a feast for you and your family/friends. The kitchen boasts an Aga, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dryer, microwave, kettle, toaster and plenty of gadgets to help you eat well. The dining space offers a large table with seating for 7.

The downstairs hallway offers high ceilings and entry to the piano room, lounge and under the stairs WC.

The piano room boasts a Carton piano as well as books, games, a games table, woodburner and sofa. A great space for children to play in.

The lounge is at the front of the house with a large window which allows plenty of natural light to flood in. There is a Smart TV (not connected to terrestrial), woodburner, sofas to seat all guests and coffee table/side tables.

The first floor gives access to 3 bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Bedroom 1 is a double size bedroom with ample storage, bedside tables with lamps and views out to the rear of the property over to the sea.

Bedroom 2 offers a metal frame double size bed with lovely period features and a large bay-style window which allows plenty of natural light to soak the room. There are bedside tables, lamps and drawers for storage.

Bedroom 3 is a small single room with plenty of natural light, overlooking Morris Street.

There is a good sized family bathroom which is home to a bath, walk in shower, wash basin with mirror and WC.

The second floor of Ivydale is where guests will find bedroom 4 which offers a spacious king size bedroom with wonderful sea views. The room offers drawers for storage as well as bedside tables and a lamp in the corner of the room. This bed can be split into 2 singles upon request (please note 1 weeks notice is required)

There is an extra family bathroom with walk in shower, wash basin and WC.

To the front of the property is aesthetic only as the front door is not in use due to past flooding.

There is a lovely rear, enclosed courtyard with ample of storage for beach items as well as courtyard furniture for all. To the side of the property is an alleyway which offers easy access to the side gate into the rear courtyard.

Heating Gas Central Heating.

Pets are not permitted.

Parking there is onstreet parking outside Ivydale and around the surrounding streets. There is also a large pay and display car park on the street.

WiFi is included.

Linen & towels are included within the price.

Due to past flooding the property cannot be accessed via the front door.

Ivydale can be found in the centre of Sheringham.

Sheringham is known for it’s beautiful Blue Flag beach, which is the perfect place to learn to paddleboard, teach the little ones how to swim or just kick back and relax with a book. Just a two minute walk from Ivydale is Sheringham’s high street which is chocka full of independent cafes, restaurants and shops.
