Location

The 1940 Cottage

The 1940 Cottage is part of 3 Almshouses located in East Bilney in the Norfolk countryside. The village is just 7 miles south of Fakenham which offers supermarkets and plenty of amenities, alongside being just 25 minutes drive to the North Norfolk tourist hotspot of Wells-next-the-Sea.

East Bilney is just a short drive or 30 minute countyside walk away from Brisley, which is home to The Brisley Bell, a great local pub. The area is great for dog walks and if it’s larger attractions you’re looking for then the village is ideally located for places such as Pensthorpe, Holkham Hall, Roarr!, golf clubs and Norwich (which is a 40 minute drive away).

A great location for exploring the very best Norfolk and North Norfolk have to offer.
