Originally comprising of two terraced cottages, Glenrosa has been expertly combined into a single spacious dwelling, meticulously renovated to meet high standards. Its prime location offers easy access to two excellent pubs, The White Horse and The Jolly Sailors, while boasting captivating marsh views, a sizeable garden, and not one, but two inviting sitting rooms, each adorned with cosy wood burners. A true haven for families, this property promises an unforgettable getaway experience that’s not to be overlooked!

House Layout

Enter through the rear entrance into a Utility Room, perfect for storing muddy boots and wellies, as well as hanging coats. This area also boasts a spacious extra fridge/freezer, sink, and washing machine.

To the left, you’ll find a Bathroom with underfloor heating, a shower, basin, and WC.

Step into the first of two cosy Sitting Rooms situated at the front of the house. This room offers a large, plush sofa for three, along with two armchairs, a wood burner, coffee table, TV, and DVD player. The sofa can be converted into a bed upon request (additional charges may apply). Please reach out to us for more details. A starter pack of logs is included.

The second Sitting Room also features a comfy sofa and two large armchairs. While the wood burner is not operational, it adds charm to the room. A bookcase stocked with games and children’s books, along with a TV and an external door leading to the front garden, complete the space.

Move through to the spacious Kitchen/Dining Area at the back of the house. This inviting space continues the tiled flooring from the sitting rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fan oven, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and toaster. The Dining Area includes a table with ample seating.

Walk upstairs and the first bedroom you will encounter is the Twin Bedroom which features 2 single beds and views of the rear garden. The perfect room for the younger generations!

Enter the spacious 70s Rattan Room which features a Super King bed, modern styled 70s dressing table and light shade, wardrobe and chest of drawers.  The room is located at the front of the house and has spectacular sea and marsh views.

The family bathroom is also located on the first floor and features a bath with shower over, basin and WC.

The spacious front garden, accessible from one of the Sitting Rooms, boasts lush turf and is fully enclosed, providing an ideal space for your beloved pets to roam freely!

At the rear of the property, you’ll find the enclosed terraced area, complete with a generous garden table and chairs. Perfect for alfresco dining on balmy summer nights, there’s also a convenient gas BBQ provided for your culinary adventures.

Beyond the terraced area lies the expansive grass garden, offering ample room for the whole family to unwind and play to their hearts’ content. (Please note this is not enclosed).

Heating Underfloor heating in downstairs bathroom. Night storage heaters, electric heaters and wood burners throughout the rest of the house.

Parking parking is available for multiple cars at the rear of the house. Parking on street is also unrestricted.

Please note the garden and shed area suffered major damage in a fire in Summer 2022. As a result, the garden hedges do not appear similar at the time of writing this (January 2023) and the the sheds are in the process of being replaced.
