Find My Cottage
Why choose a holiday cottage in Wells: Wells is the best place to catch a crab! But if crabbing doesn't tickle you then perhaps exploring the pine woods before heading to your beach hut rental for the day may be! Or how about meandering up Staithe Street which is a quant but buzzing road lined with great independent shops and eateries! Wells has some great pubs too which are always busy on an evening with families, tourists and residents alike!
Perfect for: Families, groups, walkers, bird watchers, romantic winter breaks.
Don’t miss: The fabulous array of 200+ colourful beach huts along Wells beach. The perfect photo opportunity! You could even hop onto the narrow-gauge railway which takes your from the town to the beach (otherwise it's quite a walk).
Our favourite places: The spectacular sandy beach! Alongside this though we are partial to a pizza at The Globe Inn which is located with The Buttlands in Wells. Just outside of Wells is Holkham and another one of our favourite coastal pubs - The Victoria.
Events: Wells has a great summer carnival at the end of July/early August! A great event for all ages! It's so close to Holkham Hall too, which has a great calendar of events (and beach - famed for some scenes in the film Shakesphere In Love).
