Why choose a holiday cottage in Sheringham: Sheringham is a vibrant, fun and lively coastal town on the North Norfolk coast. The town is perfect for all ages and really does have something to do for quite literally everyone.
Steam trains to crabbing, tourist shops to ice cream parlours, arcades to beach huts and all that’s inbetween; Sheringham is wonderful in any weather and at any time of year.
Perfect for: Families, couples and those looking for a fun and lively holiday.
Don’t miss: A sunset walk up Skelding Hill – the sunsets are beyond dreamy!
Our favourite places: Sheringham Park, the large expansive beach past the lifeboat station, Skelding Hill golf course walk, a takeaway from Fat Teds, cake from Winibees Bakery and coffee at Camellia Cottage, fish and chips from any chippy in town (they are all great). Beach hut spotting and of course a ride on the steam train to Holt.
Events: Sheringham is well known for it’s regular events – perfect for tourists and residents alike. A firm favourite is Sheringham carnival during early August as well as the 40s weekend in September and Viking festival over the February half term. Not forgetting The Potty festival, which usually runs early July. If it's the arts you're looking for then make sure you head to Sheringham Little Theatre for a great variety of shows!
