Why choose a holiday lodge at Kelling Heath: Kelling Heath is a 5* woodland park set amongst 300 acres of woodland and rare open heathland. Experience the unique environment of Kelling Heath at your own pace, and go home refreshed and relaxed. There is a huge variety of walks, a leisure centre where you can grab a drink or go for a dip, a village shop, a great choice of children's parks and activities and much more. Kelling Heath is a one-stop park of the highest standard and somewhere we can't wait for you to explore.
Perfect for: Families, couples and those looking for a woodland retreat with a difference.
Don’t miss: Stargazing at Kelling Heath! Kelling Heath is one of the best places in England to discover the dark, starry skies! Following an application by the Norfolk Coast Partnership, Kelling Heath was awarded ‘Dark Sky Discovery Site' status in September 2017. The park met the strict criteria set by the UK Dark Sky Discovery partnership of being an exceptionally dark site, unaffected by light pollution and accessible for people to view the night sky. Head to the Dark Sky Discovery Site for the best views of the night sky at the park.
Our favourite places: We love taking a stroll down to the fishing pond for some pond dipping with the family. On the way down you can stop off to check out the bug hotel whilst looking out for the woodland fairies. Why not take a picnic with you and venture off for a bear hunt down to Weybourne.
Events: Kelling Heath has a wonderful array of activities and events on throughout the year. Sunday markets, street food evenings, children's entertainment and woodland activities, talks and workshops, craft workshops - the list is endless! As a local we love popping in for some street food and natter in the village square with friends.
